Innoptus Solar Team Unveils Upgraded Infinite for Race to South Africa
The Innoptus Solar Team hosted the "Race to South Africa" event at Droneport Sint-Truiden, Belgium last Friday, inviting all their partners for this exciting event.
It marked the culmination of 12 months of hard work by the team as they prepare to tackle the Sasol Solar Challenge in South Africa, the world's most extreme solar car race.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the team's innovated Infinite solar car. This exclusive event offered a glimpse into the culmination of 20 years of continuous innovation by the Innoptus Solar Team. Guests were treated to a presentation showcasing how the Infinite model from the 2023 race has been meticulously upgraded to take on the grueling South African challenge.
The event also featured a live demonstration of the Infinite's capabilities. Attendees witnessed the solar car navigate the course and were impressed by the pit crew's lightning-fast tire change, completed in under a minute!
In addition to the live demo, a video chronicling the Innoptus Solar Team's 20-year history was presented, providing a fascinating look back at the team's journey and accomplishments.
