Do you wish to prove to concerned parties that you possess the necessary technical know-how and administrative management for the implementation of burglar alarm installations? Our experts evaluate your documents and activities in order to obtain the necessary certificate.
The purpose of INCERT certification is to certify security companies, thereby authorising them to issue Incert conformity declarations for the burglar detection systems that they install. Insurance companies often require such declarations of conformity. What must be present during the initial audit? An administrative audit of the INCERT reference file is carried out during the initial certification audit. This reference file must be drawn up based on the INCERT Rules for the Certification of Security Companies (RCBO). In addition, technical inspections of at least 2 burglar alarm installations are conducted. These installations must be installed in accordance with the technical note T015-2, “General requirements for burglar alarm systems” (the rules that apply to the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of burglar alarm systems). This document is drawn up and issued by the Belgisch Elektrotechnisch Comité (B.E.C.) vzw (Belgian Electrotechnical Committee (B.E.C.) npo), August Reyerslaan 80, 1030, Brussels (Tel: 02/706.85.70 ; email: centraloffice@bec-ceb.be), and can be ordered from there.
The INCERT certification of a security company as per T015-2 is obtained voluntarily. However, it is mandatory to obtain INCERT certification if the security company wishes to issue an Incert declaration of conformity for the burglar detection systems installed by it. Insurance companies often require such Incert declarations of conformity.
