Hydrogen is a key pillar of the European Green deal and in July 2020, the European Commission proposed a hydrogen strategy for a climate-neutral Europe. More than €25 billion has already been reserved for this. The desire to become independent of Russian gas is going to further accelerate the conversion of gas to hydrogen.

Strukton Rail – onderdeel van de Strukton Groep – biedt een uitgebreid servicepakket aan op het vlak van railinfrastructuur, spoorvoertuigen en mobiliteitssystemen. In België telt het onder meer Infrabel, De Lijn, TEC en MIVB onder zijn klanten, maar ook in tal van andere landen staat het bedrijf in voor het ontwerp, de bouw, het onderhoud en de exploitatie van geavanceerde spooroplossingen. Eind maart nam de UCL de nieuwe didactische hoogspanningscabine van Vinçotte in Gembloux in gebruik. Besluit: een opleiding in reële omstandigheden om de juiste handelingen te trainen, de juiste vragen te leren stellen en in alle veiligheid te interveniëren. Een nieuwe must!
