Toyota and Vinçotte working together 50 years, now also on EV's like the Highlander Hybrid, Toyota’s efficient and comfortable family SUV.
The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is available on the European market since 2021. As a trusted partner of Toyota, Vinçotte had the honour of doing the Type Approval for this vehicle.
The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is one of the many vehicles Vinçotte did the Type aprroval on for Toyota. In line with Toyota's requirements, the approval was completed partly in Japan and partly in Europe. As a minimum, the following approvals formed part of the project:
- Brakes
- Emission tests
- RDE (real driving emissions)
- Crash tests
- Seats
- Defrost and demist
- Bumpers, glass, interior and exterior, anti-theft, towing device, horn.
- EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) testing
- Pedestrian protection
As Vinçotte soon turns 150 we are very proud of our lifelong client Toyota both in Europe as in Japan. We have got to know each other very well over the past 50 years we have worked together. Just like us, Toyota is keen on details and safety.
